Norma has done it again! It has been a while since Norma has written a book and this book was well worth the wait! Love on a Budget is a great feel good "Girlfriends" book. It is very well written with lots of "REALISTIC" scenes in it. Being a Native Houstonian I loved the way she mentioned several local resturants, spa's and venues. It makes a reader feel more in touch with the characters and the book as we can visualize the scene clearer. Now, don't get me wrong, if you are not from Houston you will NOT be lost at all. It was just a extra special nod to her town. I love when you are reading a book and can actually feel each and every character. She painted them so vividly. The book is a quick read with a smooth flow to it. The chapters move very fast and it keeps you wanting to read more. It was difficult for me to put it down. I read it in two days. It is written very tasteful which for me is very important. It is romantic but not graphic. As a single lady in today's society this books sprinkles Prayer with Hope! Enjoy!Product details

Print way too small
Nice story with a cool ending. Great characters. Loved the ex-file drama and God family & friends. It was a great read.
Norma Jarrett never disappoints. Great characters, excellent writing with lots of laugh out loud moments. I look forward to more in this series and highly recommend it.
The author did a great job with this storyline. She grabbed your attention from the beginning and had the reader wanting more. This book is a good page turner. I won't give any spoilers. If you are looking for a great read this is a book for you.
I really enjoyed this book. I loved that in her books you will always relate to the situations that the characters may be going through. Definitely a story about true friendships, love for all ages, and drama mixed in. Pick this up as you will not be disappointed. Great job!

I have followed this author and I love this book; the ending seemed a little rushed ,but she is really good at what she does.
I loved the story line and the characters. The profanity not so much. The book really could have survived without it. I would have given the book 5 stars but to me Christian fiction should read as Christian fiction.
Norma Jarrett's Love on a Budget is an emotionally charged story that will speak to your heart. The characters are real and the situations are realistic. It's an amazing story about finding love and explores the socio-economic challenges faced in today's dating scene, a story about friendships and betrayal, but also a story that will make you feel and explore your beliefs about love and relationships. The book is a page -turner that draws you in page by page. I loved it can't wait to read the sequel. Looking for a great "chick flick" in print Love on a budget is it!!
